Train Day

The Heart of Cary Association in partnership with Amtrak and the Town of Cary will host National Train Day.
Tour the 1868 Page-Walker Arts & History Center and learn about its history as a 19th century railroad hotel and see model train displays. Visit the depot filled with family-friendly activities, displays, vendors and giveaways. National Train Day is a holiday begun by Amtrak in 2008 as a way of sharing information about the advantages of rail travel and the history of railroading in the United States.
